OUR SERVICES
At our location in Makkum, Friesland, we have a well-equipped workshop, a marina and a boat crane. Here we provide all kinds of yacht services. Moreover, our location has a direct sailing connection to the IJsselmeer. Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is a HISWA Certified All-round Yachtservice company.
Marine engines
Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is one of the largest official Yanmar dealers in the Netherlands. You can come to us for services, maintenance, overhauls and new/used marine engines & parts. Besides supplying marine engines, we can also provide complete installation and assembly. We are the service address for pleasure craft, but also have an expertise for the heavier Yanmar marine engines. Thus, we are the regular address for many professional vessels.
Installations & carpentry
Do you have a malfunction or want to modify or modernize something on board? If so, we can help you with that. As a builder of complete yachts we have experience with all the installations on board. Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is known for clear, accessible and well thought-out installations. At our workshop we have an extensive carpentry department. This carpentry department has extensive experience in both modern and classic styles.
Marina
Gebroeders van Enkhuizen has a spacious marina with 35 berths, all equipped with shore power. Our marine is located within walking distance of the cosy centre of Makkum. At our marina you will find a fine shower and toilet facility. There is also a laundry with washer and dryer. Furthermore, there is a charing point for electric cars, a free WIFI network and an AED. Passersby are also welcome.
Winter Storage
Your yacht can spend the winter with us both outside and in the hall. However, our hall is currently fully reserved. Of crouse, as an all-round yacht service company, we can then also do the necessary works. During the sailing season we can also store your yacht. Both for short and longer periods.
Boat Lift and carrier
We have a boat lift that can lift up to forty tons. Our lift has an open construction, which enables us to place and move your yacht ashore with a standing mast. The boat lift is used for winter storage, but it is also possible to put your yacht ashore for a shorter period of time for e.g. maintenace work. In addition, our lift is used for inspection lifts.
