In this video, we share an update on the progress of the Enksail Orion 49, which is currently under construction. We show how the interior is taking shape and compare the layout with “Distant Shores IV”, the very first Enksail Orion we built.

At Enksail Yachts, every yacht is custom built, tailored to the owner’s preferences, sailing style, and plans. This means that each Orion is redesigned and optimized from the layout to the choice of materials and technical installations. No two Orions are the same, and that’s exactly what makes this build process so unique. The progress shown in this video really highlights that.

Lobke van Enkhuizen, part of our family business, gives the tour in this video, showing how the interior is coming together and explaining the choices made in this custom-built yacht.

During Lobke’s tour, it becomes clear how previous experiences have been incorporated into this design. For example, we used the feedback from Paul and Sheryl of ‪@DistantShoresTV‬, who are sailing the world with their Enksail Orion and sharing their adventures on their YouTube channel, to further optimize the Orion 49 for long-distance sailors and adventurers.
